REMAP
Your buttons. Your rules.
Move jump and crouch off the face buttons so your right thumb never leaves the stick, and turn any hold you're tired of gripping into a toggle.
That's you, running Aster: remaps, macros, turbo, Recoil Mapping and Sticky Aim in one Windows 11 app. Build your controller setup and send it through one virtual Xbox 360 controller.
Your pad, fully rewired. Remap supported buttons, record macros, add timed turbo, configure recoil mapping, and tune Sticky Aim. Save it all to a profile and queue up.
Your buttons. Your rules.
Move jump and crouch off the face buttons so your right thumb never leaves the stick, and turn any hold you're tired of gripping into a toggle.
Your combo, one button.
Play the combo on your pad and Aster records it, every step editable. Or build it raw: Press, Wait, Release, partial trigger pulls. Fire it from a supported button or a trigger pull.
Mashing is a setting now.
Repeat a supported button, or L2/R2 (LT/RT on Xbox), on a timed interval, while held or as a toggle. 100 ms = 10 taps a second: 50 pressed, 50 released. Your game still sets its own pace.
Your correction. Your call.
Set horizontal and vertical stick correction for each profile, choose when it runs—including while firing—and shape it with ramp and staged settings. Save your own gun presets, then switch between A, B and Baseline.
Movement, on your terms.
Set the amount and speed of generated stick movement. Adaptive mode offers circle, ellipse and horizontal paths, smooth transitions, and fade based on your physical stick input. Add separate left-stick patterns when your setup calls for them.
Ranked gets decided in the margins. Shape both sticks, split one button into two jobs, and keep a separate setup for every game you grind.
Radial deadzone, sensitivity and response curve for both sticks. Lock in the feel before you queue.
Tap to run a macro on release, hold for the normal button. Hold kicks in after 250 ms by default, adjustable from 50 to 2,000 ms.
Game workspaces keep their own profiles, macros and notes. Pick your game from the GAME menu and your setup is waiting.
The input tester lines up your physical buttons against Aster's processed output, with trigger levels from the same frame, and flags every button added or removed. Tune here, not mid-match.
No pad handy? Poke simulated buttons, triggers and the right stick to preview a profile. Simulator input never reaches a game.
Live HID reports per second in Hz, plus average spacing, over a rolling one-second window. Works with processing paused. The example shows 1,000 reports/s, about 1.00 ms apart; your rate depends on your controller and connection.
Pads without a HID report stream show Unavailable. Report rate is not game latency.
F8, the Stop button, or hold Create+Options, Share+Options or View+Menu for 0.6 s. Generated holds, macros and toggles clear; your physical input keeps flowing.
Once Aster launches, download it free and connect your controller. Membership unlocks the advanced features. The planned download includes the ViGEmBus installer. Run its setup once before connecting virtual output; Windows will ask for administrator permission.
Connect a supported controller. Check the compatibility notes below for the current hardware testing status.
Choose it on the Controller page. Just connected? Hit Refresh devices.
Click Connect virtual output. Aster creates a virtual Xbox 360 controller through ViGEmBus.
Set up remaps, macros or turbo. Flip on any feature that has its own switch.
Then open the tester and compare what goes in with what comes out.
Save the profile and pick the virtual Xbox 360 controller where your game lets you.
Designed for these controller families over USB or Bluetooth. USB DualSense has been verified on hardware; other models and connections still need release testing. Virtual output uses one Xbox 360 controller.
Aster is getting ready for Windows 11. Explore the features now; subscriptions and downloads will open when the release is ready.
PLANNED AT LAUNCH
Free to download
Connect your controller, use normal virtual output, test inputs, manage profiles and use the overlay. Free Stick Tuning gives each stick its own deadzones, response curve, sensitivity, center correction, anti-deadzone and inversion. Game settings still apply to the tuned input.
$9.99 USD/month or $99 USD/year unlocks Recoil Mapping, Button Mapping, Sticky Aim, Turbo & Macros, recoil recording and video analysis. Both billing options include the same features. Yearly membership is billed as one $99 payment.
One active Windows PC. Membership renews automatically until canceled; access continues through your paid period. Activation and renewal checks require internet, with up to 24 hours of verified offline access, limited by your membership end date.
Enter the license key from your Gumroad receipt once in Aster. The same key stays with your subscription when it renews. Monthly billing follows the calendar billing date, rather than a fixed 30-day timer.
To cancel future renewals, use Subscription settings in your Gumroad receipt, or open your purchase in Gumroad Library and choose Manage membership. Paid features stay active through your paid period, then Aster returns to Free with your profiles and settings saved.
When membership ends, paid actions stop and normal controller input continues. Your profiles and paid settings stay saved.
